Job Description

Growing company in the Lehigh Valley seeks a Warehouse Manager for its new warehouse. Reporting to the General Manager, the Warehouse Manager is the central hub between our operations team, field technicians, and suppliers. You’ll manage inventory, organize shipments, maintain a clean and safe facility, and ensure our teams have what they need—when they need it—to deliver exceptional service and installations. Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

• Oversee and optimize inventory control for doors, parts, motors, dock levelers, seals, bumpers, and hardware.
• Maintain accurate stock levels using inventory management systems.
• Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile variances quickly.

Shipping & Receiving

• Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments for customer orders, installations, and service jobs.
• Inspect deliveries for quality and accuracy; ensure damaged goods are returned and replacements are ordered.
• Prepare and stage equipment, tools, and parts for daily technician dispatch.

Team Leadership & Safety

• Supervise warehouse staff and delegate daily assignments.
• Enforce safety protocols, conduct forklift and equipment checks, and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Provide training on proper material handling and storage procedures.

Facility & Equipment Oversight

• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse layout.
• Schedule maintenance for forklifts, tools, and company equipment.
• Monitor fleet parking and coordination with operations on vehicle dispatches.
• Prepare fleet for service ensuring trucks are available and operational for service technicians.

Process Improvement

• Identify bottlenecks in inventory, delivery, or technician preparation processes—and fix them.
• Collaborate with purchasing to improve vendor performance and reduce downtime.
• Drive operational excellence by recommending new storage, labeling, and workflow systems.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience.
• Familiarity with overhead doors, loading dock systems, or similar construction materials.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and operate forklifts or material handling equipment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP/inventory software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.).
• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
