A rewarding opportunity is available for two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in a K-12 school setting located in Virginia Beach, VA. This position is a contract role for the 2025-2026 school year, offering 37.5 hours per week. Candidates will primarily work with elementary students, with potential involvement at the secondary level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support speech-language pathologists by assisting students during therapy sessions
• Facilitate virtual therapy sessions collaboratively with a teletherapist, ensuring smooth communication and engagement
• Implement individualized treatment plans under supervision, documenting student progress accurately
• Provide direct assistance to students requiring speech and language intervention within the school setting
• Collaborate effectively with educators and therapy professionals to support student outcomes

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certification or licensure
• Experience working in educational or pediatric therapy settings preferred
• Comfort and proficiency with virtual platforms to assist in teletherapy sessions
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to adapt and engage with K-12 students across various grade levels
