OVERVIEW:

Are you passionate about shaping the future of General Mills by connecting with top student talent? As a Lead Recruiter on the Campus Recruiting Team, you'll be responsible for championing campus recruiting, focusing on attracting and hiring exceptional students for our Supply Chain, Research & Development and Quality functions. You'll manage the full recruitment life-cycle for both interns and full-time entry-level positions, building strong relationships with universities, students, and internal stakeholders. You'll also play a key role in driving innovation in our campus recruiting strategies, ensuring we maintain our position as a best-in-class campus recruiting team

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Own full-lifecycle recruitment across multiple functions (full-time and intern), building the talent pipeline; screening, on-site interviews, hiring, and maintaining positive candidate relationships Develop and execute innovative campus recruiting strategies, leveraging technology, social media, and employer branding initiatives to attract top talent and meet hiring goals Ensure a positive and engaging experience for all stakeholders, including candidates, university partners, internal teams, and business leaders Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including university career centers, faculty, student organizations, hiring managers, business leaders, and HR partners Represent General Mills at campus events, including career fairs, information sessions, and on-campus interviews Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to business leaders on campus recruiting trends, best practices, and market intelligence Collaborate with business leaders to forecast future intern and entry-level hiring needs Track and analyze key recruitment metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders on progress and results Help design and facilitate the summer internship program, including orientation, manager training, performance reviews, and final presentations, with a focus on converting interns to full-time employees Provide ongoing support and guidance to interns throughout their program, including onboarding, performance evaluations, and the offer process Lead ad-hoc projects and initiatives to improve campus recruiting effectiveness & support Talent Acquisition team priorities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience including sourcing, pipelining, networking, attracting and recruiting diverse skills sets and backgrounds Ability to develop and execute successful recruiting strategies, including employer branding, candidate engagement, and effective interview processes Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong customer service orientation Strong influencing and decision-making skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly organized and detail-oriented, with experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders A passion for continuous improvement and a desire to stay up-to-date on the latest trends in campus recruiting Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization. Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven reporting Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc) Ability to travel up to 25% during peak recruiting seasons (September - January)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in event planning and execution, internship design, campus career fairs and information sessions Experience managing and designing campus recruitment and/or early career professional development programs

This is a Minneapolis, MN based position and is not remote eligible at this time. International relocation or international remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be considered. Salary Range The salary range for this position is $93700.00 - $140700.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role.
